Everything you can reach on Mac is here; it just lives in a different place — [the three views](https://docs.jotaid.com/en/guide/canvas) are reached through the drawer behind the logo in the top-left corner. ## Quick Note — the Launch Screen Jotaid opens on **Quick Note**, not on a list. It's a bare capture screen: a title, a body, a tag field, and a save button that stores the note and immediately clears itself for the next one. The full app is already loaded behind it — save or dismiss and you land in your notes. See [Quick Capture](https://docs.jotaid.com/en/guide/capture). ## The Title Bar A floating glass capsule sits at the top of every main screen: | Element | What it does | |---------|--------------| | Jotaid logo | Opens the left drawer | | Project name | Opens that project's note in a sheet (the Inbox has none, so it stays a plain label) | | **THEMES** / **NODES** | In Theme and Node view, opens that view's list as a sub-page | | **+** | In the note list, returns to Quick Note to capture something new | ## The Left Drawer Tap the logo — or swipe the dimmed area to close it again. Top to bottom: - **Three view icons** — Note, Node and Theme. Tap one and the drawer closes on its own. - **PROJECTS** — Inbox plus your projects; tap to switch scope, or add a new project (a [Pro](https://docs.jotaid.com/en/guide/pricing) feature). - **SETTINGS** — at the bottom. ## The Pull-Down Panel The note list has no visible search bar. **Pull the list down** and a panel appears above it holding: - The **NOTES / TRASH** heading with a live count — tap it to switch to deleted notes - A **search field**, scoped to the project or theme you're currently in - The **filter funnel**, which opens View Options: sort by name / created / modified, ascending or descending, and filter by theme, node or tag. The funnel is highlighted whenever anything is off its default, and **Reset** in the sheet's top-left clears it. ## The Note List Each row shows a title, a preview and its metadata. Touch replaces the Mac's menus: | Gesture | Result | |---------|--------| | Tap | Opens the note full-screen | | Swipe left | Delete, or **Move to** another project or theme | | Long-press | Enters multi-select — a batch action bar appears for moving or deleting several notes at once | With the drawer open, tap the dimmed area beside it to close it. ## The Note Page Opening a note replaces the screen. A floating glass bar sits on top of it: a **back** capsule on the left, and a **⋯** menu on the right with **Preview / Edit**, **Smart Format** (AI formatting), **Note Info**, and **Theme Summary** on project notes. **Note Info** opens a bottom sheet with the same content the Mac shows in its right-edge panel — the note's nodes, its potential links, and the notes it's related to. ## Theme View The canvas is the full screen and everything is a gesture: **long-press a card** for its menu (colour, delete, move). The floating buttons on the right recentre the board, run **Tidy Up**, and add a card. The capsule at the bottom is both a readout and a control: it counts loose cards, themes and grouped cards — and tapping it opens the canvas filter panel. To create a theme, open the **THEMES** sub-page from the title bar; new themes are created there, by hand or with **Smart Theme**. ## Node View Node view opens on the whole network. A segmented capsule floats at the bottom to switch between **Graph** and **Matrix**; tapping any node — or any matrix cell — opens a bottom sheet with its details, which on Mac would be the hover panel. The **NODES** entry in the title bar lists your concept nodes with their reference counts. Tap one to open its detail sheet, which carries three tabs: - **Content** — the node's own note - **Backlinks** — every note that mentions it - **Relations** — its co-occurrences, predictions and AI suggestions The title bar's menu also holds **Smart Node**, the AI-assisted way to draft a new concept node. ## Settings Reached from the bottom of the drawer.
